Our process
No mystery, no pressure. Here is exactly what happens between your first message and the day we hand the space back.
- Step 01
Inquiry
You tell us what you have in mind. Photos help but aren't required.
Send the estimate form or an email with as much or as little detail as you have. A rough idea and a photo of the space is plenty to start. We'll come back to you — usually within a business day — with any questions we need answered before we can be useful.
- Step 02
Consultation
We see the space, take measurements, and talk through options.
For most projects we come out and look. That's where the real measurements get taken and where the practical constraints show up — the wall that isn't square, the joist that's in the way, the ceiling that runs out of level. You'll get an honest read on what's straightforward and what isn't.
- Step 03
Estimate
A written estimate and a Scope of Work Agreement — not a ballpark.
You get a written estimate together with a Scope of Work Agreement setting out exactly what the project covers: what's included, what materials it assumes, and what would change the number. Everything is on paper before anyone commits, and there's no pressure to decide on the spot.
- Step 04
Materials & deposit
Choose your materials — or we'll recommend. An initial deposit covers them.
Choose your preferred materials, or we can provide recommendations based on your project, style, and budget. Once the scope is agreed, an initial deposit is collected. Deposit requirements vary by job, but they typically cover the required project materials upfront so everything is on site before work begins.
- Step 05
Build
Built to the measurements we took, on a schedule we've agreed.
The work happens — in the shop, on site, or both, depending on the project. You'll know the schedule before we start and you'll hear from us as it moves, rather than wondering where things stand.
- Step 06
Install & walkthrough
Installed, cleaned up, and checked together before we call it done.
Installation, then a walkthrough together. Anything that isn't right gets put right before we consider the job finished — that last part is the whole point.
What we ask of you
Very little, but it matters: be clear about what you want, tell us early if something changes, and let us know if a date stops working. We’ll do the same.
Ready to start?
Send us the details and we'll take it from step one.
